It is our lifetime advocacy to implement sustainable green initiatives towards a Green Workplace. Surprisingly, our green practices were recognized by the Local Government and awarded Pioneer Lab as the “No.1, Most Eco-Friendly Healthcare Institution” in 2015. April 22, 2016, as Batangas City celebrated “Earth Day”, once again, Pioneer Lab was recognized for its continual commitment to environmental sustainability.
According to experts, environmental sustainability is a state in which the demands placed on the environment can be met without reducing its capacity to allow all people to live well, now and in the future.
It has become a pressing matter because of the way we are living right now; we are already using 2 to 3 times more of the Earth’s natural resources than what it can replenish. As a result, within a generation, oil and many other resources will most likely be scarce and far more expensive. This will ultimately threaten the existence of life on Earth.
If we do not act now, we will see the consequences of the depletion of our natural resources and it will not be pleasant.
Let us do something to stop this. Let every individual contribute to the conservation of our natural resources and reduce CO2 emissions.
Together, we can make a difference, because the power to save Mother Earth is in our hands! Pioneer Lab is taking oath on this challenge and THE PLANETEERS (Green Bloomers; Energy Busters; Waste Watchers and Water Savers) will make it happen. It’s a special committee which Pioneer Lab synergized among its employees – devoted in caring, loving and protecting our planet.
Since we started our projects, we have noted significant reduction in our wastes, water and energy consumption. We have also heightened greening awareness among employees and clients, even harvested organic vegetables from our own “Farmville” – our income generating project which supports other green activities. More so, harvesting time, means famealy-bonding-time, as we enjoy the fruits of our labor.
We have always taken environmental sustainability by the 3H (Head, Hands and Heart) and it is not an easy mission, yet we are determined, because- WE DON’T JUST EXAMINE, WE CARE!
